Briery Wood is a privately owned Country House Hotel in the central English Lake District. We are well located to host both national and international conferences, with close rail links to Scotland and the South of England, Manchester Airport within easy travelling distance and access to most major road routes.
Surrounded by private woodland and gardens and with spectacular views to the mountains beyond, Briery Wood provides a haven of peace and tranquility away from the every day pressures of work.
Facilities
We have 23 en suite fully appointed bedrooms and, if required, can offer additional accommodation at our sister hotels, each within easy reach. A variety of public rooms, each with its own personality, provide comfortable surroundings in which to be inspired and invigorated.
Should you choose to take advantage of the great outdoors we can also provide direct access to the lake From our sister hotel the Cragwood for boat trips and on-site facilities for team building activities and outdoor pursuits.
